The law mentions liability for damage caused in the exercise of public authority. At the same time, it adds that non-material damage is also covered under the conditions of the law.
There are a number of claims of various kinds in relation to compensation. In principle, however, they can be divided into the following types:
- Damages - actual damage
- Damages - loss of profit
- Non-material damage
Each of these groups has its own specific characteristics, in particular as regards quantification, proof, or limitation periods, after which the right to compensation is substantially weakened.
